Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included this untitled work by Ilhan Koman. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,881.05) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ilhan Koman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2013 with an auction result of SEK 500,000.00 (€ 58,551.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ilhan Koman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.881,05) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ilhan Koman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 500.000,00 (€ 58.551,03).
