Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Ilhan Koman was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 125,000.00 – 150,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 100,000.00 (€ 10,731.25). Admittedly, works by Ilhan Koman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2013 with an auction result of SEK 500,000.00 (€ 58,551.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ilhan Koman im Oktober 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 125.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 100.000,00 (€ 10.731,25) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ilhan Koman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 500.000,00 (€ 58.551,03).
