Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art/ Turkish, which included the work Untitled (From The Iron Age And Dissolution Synthesis Series) by Ilhan Koman. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,523.45). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ilhan Koman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2013 for SEK 500,000.00 (€ 58,551.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art/ Turkish durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (From The Iron Age And Dissolution Synthesis Series) von Ilhan Koman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.523,45) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ilhan Koman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2013 für SEK 500.000,00 (€ 58.551,03) versteigert wurde.
