A top price for Igor Vulokh - as previously expected
In March 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Contemporary Sale, which included the work Shadow by Igor Vulokh. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,207.02) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Shadow is the most expensive artwork by Igor Vulokh that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im März 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Contemporary Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Shadow von Igor Vulokh zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.207,02) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Shadow das teuerste Kunstwerk von Igor Vulokh, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
