Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Interior by Igor Vulokh was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,485.71). Admittedly, works by Igor Vulokh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shadow in March 2008 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,207.02).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Interior von Igor Vulokh im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.485,71) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Igor Vulokh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shadow im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.207,02).
