In July 2000 Christies in London held the auction Russian Pictures and Works of Art, which included the work Summer - the Dog in the Courtyard by Igor Grabar. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,162.50 (€ 18,049.62), 59% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Igor Grabar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Summer Evening in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 169,250.00 (€ 197,582.04).

Im Juli 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion Russian Pictures and Works of Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Summer - the Dog in the Courtyard von Igor Grabar zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.162,50 (€ 18.049,62) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Igor Grabar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Summer Evening im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 169.250,00 (€ 197.582,04).
