Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction This is Tomorrow: Works from the David Ross Collection, which included the work The Untroubled Mind by Idris Khan. The price achieved of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 58,641.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Idris Khan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work (I) Every... Bernd And Hilla Becher Prison Type Gasholders (Ii) Every... Bernd And Hilla Becher Spherical Type Gasholders (Iii) Every... Bernd And Hilla Becher Gable Side Houses, which sold at auction in October 2012 for GBP 181,250.00 (€ 225,352.58).

Im September 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion This is Tomorrow: Works from the David Ross Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Untroubled Mind von Idris Khan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 58.641,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Idris Khan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit (I) Every...
