Auction result well in line with expectations
The work vendetta: Knife Fight by Ida Bagus Made Widja was auctioned at Christies in Singapore in September 2001. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SGD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of SGD 6,462.50 (€ 4,019.26) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Ida Bagus Made Widja have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2001 the work Procession to a Monkey Temple was auctioned for SGD 9,987.50 (€ 6,211.59).
