Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sudanese A Set Of Three Drawings by Ibrahim el-Salahi was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2019. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,632.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ibrahim el-Salahi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Tree in October last year with an auction result of GBP 69,300.00 (€ 80,733.73).

Die Arbeit Sudanese A Set Of Three Drawings von Ibrahim el-Salahi kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.632,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ibrahim el-Salahi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Tree im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 69.300,00 (€ 80.733,73).
