This artwork by Ian Stephenson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July 2014. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Cubo-Particle sold for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 11,036.50) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ian Stephenson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Traces , which sold at auction in November 2014 for GBP 20,625.00 (€ 25,931.32).

In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Cubo-Particle für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 11.036,50) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ian Stephenson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Traces beobachtet, die im November 2014 für GBP 20.625,00 (€ 25.931,32) versteigert wurde.
