A top price for I. Tudgay - as previously expected
The work The aftermath of the Battle of the Nile, 1 August 1798 by I. Tudgay was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,385.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The aftermath of the Battle of the Nile, 1 August 1798 is the most expensive artwork by I. Tudgay that we have observed at auctions so far.
