Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2000 Christies in Singapore held the auction SOUTHEAST ASIAN PAINTINGS, which included the work Buta Sia by I Gusti Nyoman Sudara Lempad. Here, the upper estimate of SGD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SGD 8,225.00 (€ 5,516.93). Admittedly, works by I Gusti Nyoman Sudara Lempad have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ramayana Story in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 23,114.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2000 führte Christies in Singapur die Auktion SOUTHEAST ASIAN PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Buta Sia von I Gusti Nyoman Sudara Lempad zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SGD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SGD 8.225,00 (€ 5.516,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von I Gusti Nyoman Sudara Lempad auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ramayana Story im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 23.114,14).
