A top price for I Dana - as previously expected
In September 2001 Christies in Singapore held the auction PRE-WAR BALINESE MODERNISTS: 1928-1942, which included the work Temple Festival by I Dana. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SGD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of SGD 4,112.50 (€ 2,557.71) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Temple Festival is the most expensive artwork by I Dana that we have observed at auctions so far.
