Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fishermen: A Group of Five Works by Hy Hintermeister was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2018. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,568.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Hy Hintermeister have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2018 the work Bullseye was auctioned for USD 17,500.00 (€ 14,995.72).
