The »bidding war« ended at USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,758.95), 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hussein Bicar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harvest I in October 2016 with an auction result of USD 247,500.00 (€ 225,779.97).

Die Arbeit Egyptian i - Ii) Untitled von Hussein Bicar wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Boundless: Dubai bei Sothebys in Dubai versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 15.758,95) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hussein Bicar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harvest I im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 247.500,00 (€ 225.779,97).
