Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pleasant Sheep (Executed In 2014) by Hung Yi was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 114,000.00 (€ 12,680.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 90,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hung Yi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tuan Tuan Yuan Yuan in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 57,785.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pleasant Sheep (Executed In 2014) von Hung Yi wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 114.000,00 (€ 12.680,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 90.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hung Yi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tuan Tuan Yuan Yuan im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 57.785,34).
