A top price for Humphrey Ocean - as previously expected
The work Biashara Street, Nairobi by Humphrey Ocean was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in June 2011. The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,106.31) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Biashara Street, Nairobi is the most expensive artwork by Humphrey Ocean that we have observed at auctions so far.
