Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jockey, 1948 by Huguette Arthur Bertrand was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in March 2012. The price achieved of EUR 2,317.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Huguette Arthur Bertrand have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lidelo n°28 - 1956 in December this year with an auction result of EUR 19,024.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Jockey, 1948 von Huguette Arthur Bertrand wurde im März 2012 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.317,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huguette Arthur Bertrand auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lidelo n°28 - 1956 im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.024,00.
