Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hugo Vilfred Pedersen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in October last year. In the Islamic and Indian Art auction, the work A Sikh soldier sold for GBP 20,400.00 (€ 23,765.77) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hugo Vilfred Pedersen; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot At the Baths sold at auction in April 2003 with the realized price of USD 47,800.00 (€ 38,925.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hugo Vilfred Pedersen erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Islamic and Indian Art wurde die Arbeit A Sikh soldier für GBP 20.400,00 (€ 23.765,77) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hugo Vilfred Pedersen; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit At the Baths im April 2003 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 47.800,00 (€ 38.925,08).
