Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Taj Mahal by moonlight, Agra by Hugo Vilfred Pedersen was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2012. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,132.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hugo Vilfred Pedersen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work At the Baths in April 2003 with an auction result of USD 47,800.00 (€ 38,925.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Taj Mahal by moonlight, Agra von Hugo Vilfred Pedersen kam im April 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.132,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hugo Vilfred Pedersen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit At the Baths im April 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.800,00 (€ 38.925,08).
