Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A cabinet, flowers and crystal ewer on a ledge by Hubert-Denis Etcheverry was sold in the British & European Art auction at Christies in London in July 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,759.96) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Hubert-Denis Etcheverry have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2019 the work Italian Family At The Fountain was auctioned for EUR 15,000.00.

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.759,96) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
