A top price for Huang Siyong - as previously expected
The work Calligraphy by Huang Siyong was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 24,000.00 (€ 24,508.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Calligraphy is the most expensive artwork by Huang Siyong that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Huang Siyong kam im April diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 24.000,00 (€ 24.508,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Calligraphy das teuerste Kunstwerk von Huang Siyong, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
