Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figures by Huang Shanshou was sold in the Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. The price achieved of HKD 9,440.00 (€ 1,071.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Shanshou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tasting Lychee; Xie An And Singers; Playing Qin; Princess Sleeping in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,127,500.00 (€ 122,475.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Figures von Huang Shanshou wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 9.440,00 (€ 1.071,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Shanshou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tasting Lychee; Xie An And Singers; Playing Qin; Princess Sleeping im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.127.500,00 (€ 122.475,73).
