Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figure by Huang Shanshou was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in November 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 48,000.00 (€ 5,337.11) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Shanshou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tasting Lychee; Xie An And Singers; Playing Qin; Princess Sleeping in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,127,500.00 (€ 122,475.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Figure von Huang Shanshou kam im November 2021 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 48.000,00 (€ 5.337,11) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Shanshou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tasting Lychee; Xie An And Singers; Playing Qin; Princess Sleeping im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.127.500,00 (€ 122.475,73).
