Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Stroll In The Courtyard by Huang Shanshou was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,271.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Shanshou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tasting Lychee; Xie An And Singers; Playing Qin; Princess Sleeping in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,127,500.00 (€ 122,475.73).

Die Arbeit A Stroll In The Courtyard von Huang Shanshou kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.271,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Shanshou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tasting Lychee; Xie An And Singers; Playing Qin; Princess Sleeping im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.127.500,00 (€ 122.475,73).
