Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Egrets by Huang Chih Chao was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 9,504.56). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Chih Chao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lady with Horse, which sold at auction in May 2011 for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 26,836.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Egrets von Huang Chih Chao kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 9.504,56) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Chih Chao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lady with Horse beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 26.836,39) versteigert wurde.
