A top price for Hu Zongxin
This artwork by Hu Zongxin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2007. In the The Mu-Fei Collection of Chinese Paintings auction, the work Landscape sold for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 17,503.23) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. This high result makes Landscape the most expensive artwork by Hu Zongxin that we have observed at auctions so far.
