In September 2014 Christies in New York held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Tiger by Hu Zaobin. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,959.46), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hu Zaobin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tigers In The Bush, which sold at auction in October 2012 for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 11,199.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im September 2014 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tiger von Hu Zaobin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.959,46) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Hu Zaobin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tigers In The Bush beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 11.199,65) versteigert wurde.
