This artwork by Hu Tinglu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Spring Banquet sold for HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,639.26) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 22,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hu Tinglu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Various Subjects sold at auction in May 2015 with the realized price of HKD 54,280.00 (€ 6,369.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 82 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hu Tinglu erzielte im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Spring Banquet für HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.639,26) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 22.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hu Tinglu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Various Subjects im Mai 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 54.280,00 (€ 6.369,04).
