In May 2016 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction The Beauty of Brushes - A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 2, which included the work Figures by Hu Tinglu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 17,700.00 (€ 2,045.79), 48% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hu Tinglu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Various Subjects, which sold at auction in May 2015 for HKD 54,280.00 (€ 6,369.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 48 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2016 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion The Beauty of Brushes - A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 2 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figures von Hu Tinglu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 17.700,00 (€ 2.045,79) und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Hu Tinglu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Various Subjects beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für HKD 54.280,00 (€ 6.369,04) versteigert wurde.
