Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne held the auction Chinese Paintings, which included the work Swallow and Wisteria by Hu Tiemei. The price achieved of AUD 984.00 (€ 804.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hu Tiemei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rock in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 16,250.00 (€ 15,189.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne die Auktion Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Swallow and Wisteria von Hu Tiemei zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 984,00 (€ 804,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hu Tiemei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rock im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 15.189,76).
