Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2014 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Pine Tree and Glossy Ganoderma by Hu Tiemei. The price achieved of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,364.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hu Tiemei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rock in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 16,250.00 (€ 15,189.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pine Tree and Glossy Ganoderma von Hu Tiemei zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.364,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hu Tiemei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rock im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 15.189,76).
