Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October last year POLY held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphy by Hsing Yun. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 32,400.00 (€ 4,151.92). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hsing Yun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphic Couplets, which sold at auction in July last year for HKD 132,000.00 (€ 16,470.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Hsing Yun zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 32.400,00 (€ 4.151,92) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Hsing Yun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplets beobachtet, die im Juli letzten Jahres für HKD 132.000,00 (€ 16.470,89) versteigert wurde.
