A top price for Hsi Shih-Pin - as previously expected
The work Bear-Rabbit, Astrology, Explorer by Hsi Shih-Pin was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 250,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 37,433.84) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Bear-Rabbit, Astrology, Explorer is the most expensive artwork by Hsi Shih-Pin that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Bear-Rabbit, Astrology, Explorer von Hsi Shih-Pin wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 250.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 37.433,84) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Bear-Rabbit, Astrology, Explorer das teuerste Kunstwerk von Hsi Shih-Pin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
