This work of art by Howard Taylor could be acquired at Christies in Sydney in August 2004 for an unexpectedly low price. In the AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS auction, the work Flower Figure changed hands for AUD 11,950.00 (€ 6,935.77) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of AUD 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Howard Taylor have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2021 by the work Rainbow Veil, 1976 at AUD 9,225.00 (€ 8,173.12).
