A top price for Hossein Behzad
In October 2007 Christies in Dubai held the auction International Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Dreaming of the Beloved by Hossein Behzad. The »bidding war« ended at USD 46,600.00 (€ 32,209.01), 55% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Dreaming of the Beloved the most expensive artwork by Hossein Behzad that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2007 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dreaming of the Beloved von Hossein Behzad zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 46.600,00 (€ 32.209,01) und damit 55% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
