In June 2015 Il Ponte held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Senza titolo by Horacio García Rossi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,500.00 55% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Horacio García Rossi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Couleur lumière No. 25, which sold at auction in May 2014 for USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,495.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 55 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2015 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza titolo von Horacio García Rossi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.500,00 und damit 55% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Horacio García Rossi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Couleur lumière No. 25 beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für USD 22.500,00 (€ 16.495,60) versteigert wurde.
