Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2008 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Composition, 1996 by Horacio García Rossi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,239.00 24% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Horacio García Rossi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Couleur lumière No. 25 in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,495.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2008 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition, 1996 von Horacio García Rossi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.239,00 und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Horacio García Rossi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Couleur lumière No. 25 im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 16.495,60).
