In October 2012 Christies in London held the auction Posters With A Purpose: The London Transport Museum Sale, which included the work To Summer Sales By Underground by Horace Taylor. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,216.62), 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Horace Taylor - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Brightest London, which sold at auction in November 2015 for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 12,463.08).

Im Oktober 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Posters With A Purpose: The London Transport Museum Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit To Summer Sales By Underground von Horace Taylor zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.216,62) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Horace Taylor mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Brightest London beobachtet, die im November 2015 für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 12.463,08) versteigert wurde.
