Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Trois spectateurs (Three Spectators) by Honoré Daumier was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Bonhams in Paris in December this year. The price achieved of EUR 35,840.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Honoré Daumier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Avocats — Le Parquet Des Avocats in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 2,629,000.00 (€ 2,024,176.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Trois spectateurs (Three Spectators) von Honoré Daumier wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 35.840,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Honoré Daumier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Avocats — Le Parquet Des Avocats im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.629.000,00 (€ 2.024.176,16).
