Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dewey Square by Honor Titus was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in December this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 30,480.00 (€ 35,111.79). Admittedly, works by Honor Titus have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Linden Blvd Jazz Radio in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 163,800.00 (€ 145,122.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Dewey Square von Honor Titus wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 30.480,00 (€ 35.111,79) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Honor Titus auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Linden Blvd Jazz Radio im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 163.800,00 (€ 145.122,71).
