Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Hong Yi was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 26,400.00 (€ 26,959.57) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 15,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hong Yi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy of Sutra in November 2018 with an auction result of HKD 9,700,000.00 (€ 1,094,815.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Hong Yi wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 26.400,00 (€ 26.959,57) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hong Yi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy of Sutra im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.700.000,00 (€ 1.094.815,86).
