Auction result misses estimated price range
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work Fishing ships off the coast at Vlissingen by Holger Drachmann for DKK 21,000.00 (€ 2,817.12). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Holger Drachmann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Coastal view from Skagen with the “Det grå fyr” (The grey lighthouse), which sold at auction in September this year for DKK 70,000.00 (€ 9,384.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Fishing ships off the coast at Vlissingen von Holger Drachmann für DKK 21.000,00 (€ 2.817,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Holger Drachmann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Coastal view from Skagen with the “Det grå fyr” (The grey lighthouse) beobachtet, die im September diesen Jahres für DKK 70.000,00 (€ 9.384,92) versteigert wurde.
