In July this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Paintings, furniture and varia, which included the work A view of the coast near Rørvig on Zealand by Holger Drachmann. The auction ended at the price of DKK 20,000.00 (€ 2,682.40), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of DKK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Holger Drachmann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Coastal view from Skagen with the “Det grå fyr” (The grey lighthouse), which sold at auction in September this year for DKK 70,000.00 (€ 9,384.92).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia durch, in der auch die Arbeit A view of the coast near Rørvig on Zealand von Holger Drachmann zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 20.000,00 (€ 2.682,40) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Holger Drachmann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Coastal view from Skagen with the “Det grå fyr” (The grey lighthouse) beobachtet, die im September diesen Jahres für DKK 70.000,00 (€ 9.384,92) versteigert wurde.
