A top price for Hitomi Hosono - as previously expected
In July 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work A Komorebi Bowl by Hitomi Hosono. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 9,586.80) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Komorebi Bowl is the most expensive artwork by Hitomi Hosono that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Komorebi Bowl von Hitomi Hosono zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 9.586,80) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist A Komorebi Bowl das teuerste Kunstwerk von Hitomi Hosono, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
