The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,187.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Hiroshi Hamaya have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2001 the work Selected landscapes was auctioned for USD 4,112.50 (€ 4,634.32).
