Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hiroki Yasutomi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2009. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Difference to Reach Me sold for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 11,415.12) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 55,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hiroki Yasutomi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ephemeral Adoration sold at auction in May 2010 with the realized price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 15,583.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hiroki Yasutomi erzielte im Mai 2009 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Difference to Reach Me für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 11.415,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 55.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hiroki Yasutomi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ephemeral Adoration im Mai 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 15.583,31).
