A top price for Hineno Taizan
This artwork by Hineno Taizan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2020. In the Fine Chinese & Japanese Works of Art Part II auction, the work Red Bamboo sold for USD 14,025.00 (€ 11,467.70) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. This high result makes Red Bamboo the most expensive artwork by Hineno Taizan that we have observed at auctions so far.
