In June 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS & DRAWINGS INCLUDING FLOWER PICTURES, which included the work Figure and sun by Hildo Krop. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 896.25 49% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hildo Krop achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Actie naar buiten - Actie naar binnen, a pair in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 107,550.00.

Im Juni 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS & DRAWINGS INCLUDING FLOWER PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figure and sun von Hildo Krop zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 896,25 und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hildo Krop erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Actie naar buiten - Actie naar binnen, a pair im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 107.550,00.
