Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bathing Girl by Hildo Krop was sold in the 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2005. The price achieved of EUR 7,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hildo Krop achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Actie naar buiten - Actie naar binnen, a pair in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 107,550.00.

Die Arbeit Bathing Girl von Hildo Krop wurde im November 2005 in der Auktion 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 7.800,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hildo Krop erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Actie naar buiten - Actie naar binnen, a pair im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 107.550,00.
